American ingenuity. Big air, bigger comfort. Three decades of HVLS innovation.
MacroAir invented the HVLS (High Volume, Low Speed) fan in the 1990s, when founder Walter Boyd set out to solve dairy cattle heat stress for a local farmer — an innovation that launched an entirely new industry. More than three decades later, the family-owned company, now led by Walter's granddaughters Jaylin and Sheila, continues to design and manufacture its fans in-house in San Bernardino, California. MacroAir's lineup spans industrial and commercial HVLS fans like the AirVolution, AVDX, AVD5, and AVD3, the entry-level AirLite, the rugged AirLegacy, and the AirPower line of portable directional barrel fans, alongside the residential Lincoln Street series. Each HVLS fan can make a space feel up to 15°F cooler, cut energy costs by up to 30%, and do the work of dozens of smaller fans, all backed by mechanical warranties up to 15 years. Whether you're cooling a warehouse floor, a gym, an aircraft hangar, or a barn full of livestock, CES is proud to represent MacroAir across the region, with the technical expertise to help you select, specify, and support the right fan for every space.
